Apple Releases MacBook Pro “Black Screen”
Apple has released MacBook Pro Video Update 1.0, a software fix for the so-called “Black Screen” problem some MacBook Pro owners have experienced. The software update is technically limited to mid-2010 15” MacBook Pro models, and it is furthermore limited to those models currently running OS X “Lion” 10.7.2, but Apple has also established a path for users running Mac OS X 10.6.x “Snow Leopard” to possibly get their units serviced.

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has said that it will start accepting applications for generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) from January 2012 onwards and will charge applicants USD 1,85,000 (about Rs 91 lakh) for gTLDs.
